Dreams float across the sky
bright as sun-shine soft as a smile
Their resilience brings a glow to my face
hope to my heart, shine to my eyes
erasing misgivings which hold my heart
make my breath stop within my being
Yet loneliness has forever pervaded my soul
would it let an alien feeling reside inside?
But hope refuses to back down
smiling impishly it holds its head up
Maybe, maybe it will endure
Lets see what the future holds for me
